I don't know why you would, but I made the mistake of buying this a long time ago. Sometimes I get really girly and get excited by cartoons and shiny things. This book has stickers inside, which is primarily why I bought it. But looking through the recipes now... wow. First off, I can't make anything in here. It's all meat. But that pales in comparison to the second reason why this book sucks: it's racist!
The two kids you see on the cover are the primary characters within the pages. But whenever the recipes have anything to do with chocolate, they feature an African-American boy. What the fuck?! And all the recipes for Asian food have really racist taglines! An example; for the "fried rice" page it says this underneath the title, "Confuscius say, 'fried rice is nice, but sharing is better.'" What the hell?! Confuscuis?!
I'm going to have to write Ms. Donna Hay a letter... "Dear Lady, You suck ass!"
